The Isle of Skye & The Road to Skye

This is perhaps the most beautiful road that you will ever travel on in Scotland, winding its way through the great mountain passes of the western highlands, past the Five Sisters of Kintail with tremendous views towards the Cuillin Mountains of Skye. Stop 5 miles outside of Invergarry at the viewpoint to see Loch Garry – famously nicknamed the “map of Scotland.” - this is the main picture at the top of our website page

The Eilean Donan Castle perhaps the most photographed and beautiful castle in Scotland used in the famous Highlander movie. Worth stopping here en-route to Skye for coffee, cakes and a tour of the castle.

From Fort William take the Jacobite Steam Train used on ‘Harry Potter’ to Mallaig. Book early to avoid disappointment. Beautiful scenery ands you get 2 hours to potter around Mallaig and grab some lunch before the return journey – great for kids.
