Job Vacancy : Cook

The owners of this small Highland Hotel are looking for a good quality Cook / Chef to join this expanding team as an integral part of the business and busy kitchen. In the high season covers can amount to 130 per day at the moment and that was in our first season of owning the Hotel. This year will be more and even more exciting.

The owners are young and dynamic and have great plans for this Hotel and development of the surrounding buildings and grounds extending the customer base further and increasing the business turnover. Our Chef is a 23 year old girl from Cornwall who is hard working and an integral part of the business here.

This is an ideal opportunity for a local person who has plenty of energy and get up and go to join a friendly team environment on flexible shifts and enjoy a 9 month a year working lifestyle.

In return we pay well and reward well including a nice way of life here in the Highlands.

We pay 12 months a year and the Hotel is open 9 months a year March to end of Nov. We do this to support Local people who need an income 12 months per annum. This salary is always excellent for the area as we recruit for the long term and will be agreed based on your experience and capabilities and reviewed as you improve and get up to speed. The Job : To assist our Chef as part of a Team of Kitchen Staff in all aspects of food preparation. The Food we offer our customers is Excellent Quality Highland Bar Meals and Home Baking based on simple straight forward cooking that is not overcomplicated and based on Local Fresh Produce and supporting Local Businesses. It’s Excellent Quality Highland Fare without the frills and we are convinced that this is an excellent opportunity for a Local person.
